V0.2.4 - Cooking & Eating Improvements

This update brings a variety of fixes, objects, and an overhaul of cooking in the game. There's been a bit of a delay between this update and the last one, with a lot of work going into setting up foundational code and systems for more advanced features coming soon. However, for this update, I wanted to share some critical fixes, quality of life updates, and an overhaul of cooking and eating. Now cooking is more solid, less error prone, and you can now see what kind of meal is being made, and have it display on the table! Stay tuned for more updates, as Synthaar ventures onto completing its second milestone.
[ADDED]
- A variety of new objects
- Parks to every civilized planet (WIP)
- Lights now turn off when no one is in a room (toggleable)
- Doors now have a sound effect
- Characters hold their arms when they are holding an object
- Inventory items now show their names on the icon
- Some generic tasks have dedicated icons for actions
- You can now make group meals
- You can direct a character to deposit any food in their inventory directly into a cooler
- Characters who don't have a place to sit for eating will go to a random point in the room
- Plates will now appear on tables when characters eat, and visibly diminish as they're eaten
- If interrupted in cooking, you can resume where you left off with the incomplete dish
[CHANGED]
- Streetlamps should turn on and off at more appropriate hours
- A variety of color palettes have been redone
- Character markers show themselves in the center of a visited tile instead of the edge
- Trees no longer fade when approached, resulting in weird shadows.
- Counters now change their form if they're a corner piece
- Food now reflects their ingredients, whether they're vegetarian, carnivorous, or omnivorous.
- When cooking a single meal, characters will go right to eating it instead of serving it.
- Wind speeds now vary throughout the day
[FIXED]
- Improved the rendering of plants and bushes
- The tickrate of the game now matches the speed setting correctly.
- Characters are better at entering and leaving lots more efficiently
- You can no longer jog or hunt when on a non-owned property
- Resolved issues when trying to go from one lot to another lot
- Resolved an issue with chairs not detecting their associated table
